The MVPA Calendar of Events Makes Sure You Don’t Miss a Thing

July 4th Celebration at MVPA – Activities from 11-6, park will close early at 7pm. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED, go to VolunteerSpot:

Due to recent heavy rains, parking on grass is not possible. Please walk or bike to the park, and if you have to drive, carpool.  When onsite parking fills up, MVP MEMBERS SHOULD NOT PARK ON THE STREETS NEAR THE PARK. Instead, park at the Hollin Hall Senior Center, St. Luke’s Church, or the Oakbrooke neighborhood. All of these locations are a short walk to the park. Wherever you park, do so legally, as we know that the police have been called to check for illegally parked cars on busy days at MVP. We appreciate your cooperation in order for MVP to retain its good relationship with its neighbors while we dry out from the recent rains.
