ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTORS
Jen Hanks – Jennifer Hanks has been a student of yoga for more than half of her life. After completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2024, Jen felt called to share yoga with her community, inspired by the many benefits of practicing all eight limbs of yoga. Jen is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, earned her teaching certification in 2024 from a Registered Yoga School (RYS), and is insured. She has taught students of all levels and ages, including children and she continues to practice as a student as frequently as possible.
Susan Barry – Susan completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Wild Rose Ayurveda in Saranac Lake, NY, and has enjoyed teaching community classes in both New York and Virginia. Susan’s approach blends traditional asana with Ayurvedic principles to support balance, seasonal awareness, and individualized self-care. Classes emphasize breath-led movement, mindful alignment, and accessible modifications so students of all levels can build strength, flexibility, and resilience. She aim’s to create a grounded, welcoming space where practitioners leave feeling centered, nourished, and better equipped to integrate yoga into everyday life.

ABOUT THE CLASSES
Our Sunday sessions are guided gentle flow and hatha yoga — a nourishing blend of breath-led movement and grounding postures set entirely outdoors. Classes are suitable for all experience levels, from first-timers to those returning to a regular practice. Whether you are brand new to yoga or simply looking to move more mindfully in nature, you are welcome here.
There is something quietly profound about practicing yoga in the open air. Feel the breeze, hear the water, let nature hold the space. Our outdoor setting beside the park’s tranquil pond offers a truly special backdrop for breath, movement, and presence.

HOW TO REGISTER
Season Registration — Register and pay in advance online or at the gatehouse. Locking in your season registration secures your spot, guarantees the lower per-class rate, and directly helps confirm the series for the community.
A la carte — Choose any session now or during the season, from classes that have met the minimum attendance! Pre-register online or at the gatehouse. A la carte rate is $20 per class. Fit it in around your busy schedule; feel refreshed.
