Heroes Wanted!

Dungeons & Gators at Mount Vernon Park.

Do your kids spend hours creating fantasy worlds and characters when they play? Are they interested in working with others to tell stories where THEY are the heroes while learning strategic thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving?

We’re bringing professional Dungeon Master Emma Lawton (dcdungeons.com) to Mount Vernon Park for weekly kids’ sessions of Dungeons & Dragons for eight weeks this summer.

Sessions will take place from 11 AM to 2 PM Tuesdays from June 23 through August 18 in the pavilion rain or shine.

Sessions will feature stand-alone adventures, so players can join as many or as few as they’d like. Each session is $20 per child and is limited to 8 players. Kids can bring their own characters, choose a pre-made character, or work with Emma to create a new character.

Parents need not sit in on sessions with their children, but they are welcome to do so. Please sign up on the MVPA website or contact Mike Bober here with any questions.
